Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a practical application for understanding how people think and perceive internal and external reality. As we take in information through our five senses, we organize that raw sensory experience in personal models or “maps” of the world. This map-making process and how it determines our choice of behavior often remains outside our conscious awareness. Originally developed to empower people to model excellence, i.e., reproduce in their own lives what makes successful people successful, NLP is also an excellent therapeutic modality, and communication skill set.
